What’s the Challenge?

We're looking for creative minds to deliver a short stand-up routine or talk that blends the rigor of science with the light-heartedness of comedy. This is your chance to showcase your current or past research projects in an engaging and entertaining way. Whether your topic is astrophysics, biology, chemistry, or any other field of science—yes, even outside the realm of psychedelics—we want to hear it! The focus should be on the entertainment side, so aim to make your audience laugh while they learn. It’s where science meets stand-up!

How to Apply

To apply, follow these steps:

1. Create a Video: Show us your skills in a short, 1-3 minute video. This could be an excerpt of your stand-up routine or any other form of showcasing your abilities as a comedian and science communicator. We're looking for creativity, clarity, and, of course, humor!

2. Submit an Abstract: Provide a short abstract (100-250 words) summarizing the project you plan to talk about. Your abstract should give us a clear idea of the scientific topic you’ll cover and how you intend to present it in a humorous and engaging manner.

3. Fill Out the Application Form: Click here to access the application form. In the form, you'll be asked to upload your video, submit your abstract, and provide your contact information.
